I need to be able to use a Virtual PC to access a test network from a corporate machine. I know I can dedicate a specific NIC to the VM but can I make it so the VM can only use that NIC and cannot be changed by the user?

I already installed VPC w/SP1. I am trying to install a student version of Fedora Core 2. Everytime I try to do a graphical installation, I get errors, and VPC sends me a window wanting me to reboot. It seems Fedora's really difficult to install successfully with VPC, though ...

I have installed VPC on a couple computers and in each instance VPC has done somthing to where I lost functionality of my NIC. To get the NIC to function, I had to do a system restore. Am I installing VPC incorrectly? Any idea's please let me know.

I'm running VPC2004 on an XP Sp2 host (fully updated) with XP Sp2 guest (fully updated). I am using a new hp laptop and have tried installing the hotfix for centrino 950 chipsets to be told I am missing the required application, so assume it is not relevant to my install.

Colin, Downloaded the Sabayon iso; x86 and itll go all the way through bootup-then freeze. basic settings in vpc; shared nat-its own disc etc. Any help?
