I am a little new to Virtualization and Virtual PC 2004 and do not quite
understand the relationship between the physical hardware on the actual
system versus the virtualized system.
My question is that my physical system has a PCI card installed that we use

I use a sympatico basic and when I plug in my internet to a usb or Ethernet
and i put my CD in it tells me to upgrade my computer with a usb plug or
Ethernet. Also my computer (not the Virtual PC 2004) is useing that internet
too

Hello.  I have a physical Windows 98 machine that is running some legacy
software that needs a Windows 98 OS.  The machine is old and taking up room.  
It is not used except for the legacy applications.  I want to use my Windows
XP machine and Virtual PC to "host" this computer.  ...

I recently installed VPC 2004 on a laptop and I'm experiencing very strange
performance anomalies within the VPC. The VPC will run at much faster than
normal speeds and then freeze for a few seconds. It would then resume
operating at very fast speeds and then freeze again.

I've already setup Virtual PCs of Windows 98, ME and XP, but now want to
create one for MS-DOS also.
Trouble is, I have MS-DOS 5.0 on 1.2" disks, and the MS-DOS 6.0 Upgrade on

Almost all of my VPCs have been configured like this:
-Undo Disks=Enabled
-Close=Automatically, no message and "Turn off and delete changes"
So, when I turn off my VPC all changes for currents session are discarded.

I've installed XP PRO SP2 as a guest OS and the Ethernet Adapter driver
cannot install.  I've searched all over the net looking for information on
this with no luck.  If it helps at all, on the guest OS, the adapter hardware

 I am running Virtual PC 2004 with all of the hotfixes on a laptop without
a built in serial port. The host is running XP Pro SP2 all updates. I added a

I have been using VPC now for 6 months and I love it, for that last 3 days
when I am in the VPC window, the mouse move slow arounf the window, meaning
it trails 1 sec to slow.  I tried to uninstall VPC additions, and the service
pack 1 as well an uninstall the VPC program too.

I installed VPC in my notebook (Fujitsu S6130 - Pentinum M 1.4G, 512M Ram,
Win XP pro). Everything is okay.
Then I installed a Linux to VPC, the speed is very very slow, it need more
