I have a VPC image that we use for demonstrations.  Because of all the overhead on  the image (Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server, etc.) the image takes about 5 days to start up completely.  I am exagerating but it is a good 15 minutes.

I have VCP 5.3 installed on a Windows Server 2003 machine with 2GB RAM.
I don't have an OS loaded in VPC yet but if I leave the boot screen up
that is looking for an OS, VPC consumes 25% cpu.  Why is that?
