When starting Virtual PC 2004, the program gives me an error "Virtual PC has detected an invalid or missing Product ID. ...enter a valid Product ID when requested." I did not see a Product ID request nor can I find a product ID.

Do you have to install Virtual PC 2004 on a bootable partition? We installed VPC but when we try to install Windows Vista RC1, we get a message about other Windows files being moved to an .old folder and that we may not be able to use the other operating system.

I have VCP 5.3 installed on a Windows Server 2003 machine with 2GB RAM. I don't have an OS loaded in VPC yet but if I leave the boot screen up that is looking for an OS, VPC consumes 25% cpu. Why is that? Thanks,
