I cannot add a new virtual hard disk in settings of any virtual PC that i created. I execute the Virtual Hard Disk wizard, and create a new hard disk in my physical drive "D" on my machine, but i cant show up in the Virtual machine.

I'm running VPC 2004 on a Dell Latitude D620 w/ 2 GB RAM. The Virtual PC application itself is installed on the laptop hard drive. I've installed .VHD images on an external hard drive. I still see slow performance.

I have a VM (XP Home SP2) running under VPC 2007 (XP Pro SP2) that has been working fine for a few months. I was running VPC 2004 and upgraded to 2007 a few weeks ago. Since then the VM has worked fine. Today, I can't get any network connectivity.

What is the maximum screen resolution for a DOS Virtual PC? It seems to be 640x480. I thought I had heard of a way to increase this by editing the .vmc file. I would like to set it to 800x600.

I have Virtual PC running on a desktop PC which is running Win XP Pro. To create a new Virtual Disk can I use the same installation disk as that of the host PC (my desktop PC) or do I need to purchase a separate copy of Windows to install in the Virtual PC environment?

How can you cretae a virtual pc from an exisitng traditional pc install? I have a Windows 2003 server that I would like to virtualize. do I just install windows 2003 in virtual PC and then restore the server state and full backup from the traditional pc?
