VM2: win2003serverEnglish, NIC not NAT
The problem is VM1 running all right, but VM2's NIC is yellow exclaimation

This is running on a laptop. If the laptop is plugged into the power outlet

I  have been impressed with the ease and function of Virtual PC v 5.3
that I just discovered.
The problem I am having is, I don't understand Virtual Additions. I
realize they give me more functionality based on which OS is the Guest,

have dowmloaded microsoft virtualpc 2007 beta from its home site
run the setup program but when i launch the program it says detected missing

When i installed XP in VPC all the writing on the graphical part of set-up
was flying! From within the OS, say at a command prompt, sometimes even if
you tap the key once about 5 characters appear?!
Any idea why?

From what I have read, Linux additions aren't available for Virtual PC 2004
but some people have gotten it to work using the Server Linux additions.

Hi - I just bought (2 days) a Dell Insprion 6400 (Intell Core Duo T2300, 2gb
RAM, etc.).  I'm runnin VPC 2004 SP1.  Inside, VPC I'm running Windows Server
2003 Enterprise Edition Evaluation Copy SP1 and MS-CRM 3.0.
The performance is awful (latency in typing password to sign, etc ...

Virtual PC installed like a dream, Win98 didn't.
I couldn't find help on uninstalling the guest operating systems (Win98)
installed on my Vista system. I can remove it from the Virtual PC Console,
but should I then delete the .vhd and .vmc files from the computer?

I installed virtual pc 2007 and now I can't use shared folders, as I did with
Virtual PC 2004. When I go to settings, "Shared folders" is Not Installed.
