I'm new to Virtual PC, so perhaps somebody can help me.  My host OS is

If I move a VPC from one machine (host) to another with a different
hardware setup, will it still work?  What issues do I face?
OS will stay the same in all cases.
Thanks,

The host is Win Server 2003 with Duo Core and 2GB RAM.  The VPC is only
downloading MS updates but is maxed at 100% cpu.  Any suggestions?

VPC Additions Question07 Dec 2006 19:08 GMT10
Just wanted to confirm something about the additions.
1.  Do you have to only install the additions once on a host machine or on each guest operating system image?
2.  If you move the image to a different machine, do you need to reinstall them?

Anyone tried this compression tool?07 Dec 2006 15:05 GMT1
As the subject reads: anyone here who is actually using this tool
and is happy with it? Seems it's pretty capable, but I'm a novice
regarding compressing of VMs, so it's easy to impress me :-)

performance with one or two VHDs06 Dec 2006 18:46 GMT1
I'm setting up a VPC (4.0) running XP SP2.  I have a choice of either having
all of the OS, etc. and my project files all on one very large VHD, or
having the VPC set up so that the OS and program files are on one VHD and
the project files are on another.  I know that different ...

VPC 2004 accessing ic.net?04 Dec 2006 19:44 GMT6
Anyone know why VPC 2004 at startup tries to access 152.160.1.1 which
is nic.ic.net?  I'm showing this attempt both in ZoneAlarm and in my
Cisco PIX firewall logs if I don't run ZA.  Can't imaging why VPC
would need to talk to an ISP in Michigan.
