I would like to use Virtual PC to transition from XP to VISTA and VISTA 64
bit. Do I need to run VISTA 64 as the host to be able to have VISTA 64 as a

When I try and turn off the guest OS, the system hangs when it shutting

I have installed Virtual PC on a Dell E520 with 250GB serial ATA hard drive.  
When I place Windows Media operating system to begin the install, I get a
error message "Unable to find hard drives on the computer".  Does Virtual PC
support the 250GB hard dirve?

I'm running Vista Ultimate x64 RTM (AMD X2 4200+) as the host and trying to
launch XP in VPC 2007.  When I click the Start button the VPC window opening
