Hi, I am brand new to VPC2007; I am loading it on Vsta Ulimate to run some
older software that will not work on Vista. I have installed Window XP Pro
with no Problems. The problems is that I have no Internet Access I can see
that the VPC2007 Adapter is connect. I am not sure ...

basically running home premium vista 32bit, i tried to install virtual pc
and it worked had a system to boot xp, the virtual pc did the bios test all
checked out but didn't boot to xp it just froze it told me that it wasn't
able to boot, am i missing something do i need to ...

Does anyone know if this is possible?
I can create a image and load it into the virtual PC, but the
underlying hardware will probably be too different for it to run - or
is there a way to make the virtual PC "have" certain hardware?

i wanted to install Ubuntu using VPC but the problem is that mouse and
keyboard are not working ...after the boot screen where u have to select
install and live cd the keyboard work's fine but when Ubuntu is loaded the
noting work's plz ..help

I created an XP using VPC 2007 on my Vista host PC (2GB RAM).
Things went well, and I can even run VS 2005 on the XP VPC. Only that the
performance is not that good, taking lots of time just to load the VS 2005
project.

i don't know why the only os that i can't make work on VPC is mandriva linux
when i get to the end of the boot, the screen gets all weird but all
throughout the boot the display is really nice colors are very high
definition, can anyone think of a reason why it act weird like ...

We're in the software development business, and some of our third-party
libraries are licensed to a specific machine, based on SID.  It's possible to
move a license from one machine to another, but it's a hassle and takes a
couple of days.

I would like to change the default DHCP Nat (IP Address Scheme) that is used
with MS VPC 2007.
I know there is not a way in the GUI to do this, but I find it hard that

I have Windows 2003 server installed on my VM. I get a network cable
unplugged icon on my taskbar. I have created the Loopback Adapter and have
also shared the network connection on the host OS which is XP.
