Using a work Thinkpad T60 laptop with corporate (locked down) installation

using VPC 2007, once activated Caps Lock, it can not be turned off. If I
press Caps Lock again, the LED flashes but it stays activated. The same with
pressing the shift key. Host and guest OS are WinXP Prof SP2. Default 102

I just installed Virtual PC 2007 under XP SP2, created my new VPC, installed
Vista Business, installed the virtual machine extensions, ran windows update
where it pulled down some 79 updates.  It then indicated 2 more updates,

I am unable to get the mouse pointer outside the desktop to grab the scroll
bars. I understand I must hold down right-alt key to get off the desktop but
when I have PowerPoint open I am unable to use the scroll bars to see all of
the application without holding down the alt key. ...

them to create identical and functional VPCs on ANOTHER Windows XP

On an external HDD, I have a backup of a previous system, made with the
Complete PC Backup utility of Windows Vista Ultimate. This was a
"normal" PC install, not a virtual PC.

I'm running VPC 2007 but the hardware virtualization is greyed out. I have
an Intel Core 2 Duo 6750 running on a Foxconn G33M-S mobo with Vista
Business, HV is enabled in the bios but still no love, any idea's??

I have VPC set up on my PC at work , so when I work from home, I
frequently need to start it up and use it.
Unfortunately, VPC over Remote Desktop is too laggy to use.  So I
would prefer to use Remote Desktop to connect directly to the VPC

I am trying to drag and drop files and folders to the VPC desktop or VPC
Windows Explorer from Windows Explorer on my physical computer but it

I have a linux guest with an XP host.  The guest is in NAT mode.  The
guest gets an IP address and can get to the internet.
The problem is, I want to ssh in from the host, but the IP address of
the guest is not reachable.  In vmware, this works just fine.

I've installed Virtual PC 2007 on my Vista RC2 machine but every time I go
through the New Virtual Machine Wizard I receive the following error when I
click the "Finish" button:
