I have installed Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 SP1 R2 on an image.  The
computer I have used to create the master image is named mstrimg.  When the
image is deployed to all the computers and the computers are all named
appropriately Virtual Server cannot find the Administrator ...

I have Windows95 in Virtual PC 2007 up and running OK but could use the
add-ons. Supposedly the 2004 add-ons work in Windows 95 guest (but are not
supported). Do you know where I can download this package?

Hi, just had a small question. Can you use the same xp license multiple times
via virtual pc, or must there be purchases for each?

I'm familiar with cloning a drive and recognize it's limitations in
that a clone image can't be easily applied to another workstation that
has different hardware components.
Does the same hold true with virtual pc or can a virtual pc be moved

After creating the vm and before installing OS what is the file system in
that partition?
If there is none, why I am not able to boot to A:/prompt using my bootable
CD I created many years ago?

how to suppress floppy seek during boot up, login and shutdown/restart?
I tried looking in the bios of the vm but failed to find it.  this noisy
seeks of 2 or more seconds does not happen with the other w2k VMA but does
occur with  similar copy VMB but with software components ...

  I am running XP Home on MS Virtual PC 2007, do I still need a firewall,
anti virus, etc on my virtual PC? I have it on my real pc- XP x64.

I have read a several responces to the USB issue; several of which just
boggled my mind.
I am fairly computer savvy but tend to loose it when the conversation gets
too techy.

I have several Virtual PC 2007 images created.  At first I had no problems
rebooting them.  Now they will not complete a reboot and open Windows.  I get
the POST screen identifying hardware, etc. then a blank (black) screen.  
I tried this with an image I have previously saved, ...

I am having trouble getting the sound to work on my virtual pc.  It wants a
sound blaster 16 driver, but it is not compatable with a 32 bit system.  Any
ideas of what driver to download??

i have 2 vpcs. vpcA is set to local only. i have another vpcb that has 2 nic
