I managed to install Ubuntu 8.04 in Virtual PC 2007, but max resolution is 896x600. Adding vga=791 only increases the resolution during boot and then it reverts back to 896x600.

My host system is Vista Enterprise x64 with a Virtual PC 2007 XP Pro machine. I work remotely and need to run an application from the local network drives at my work and have to be connected over the VPN. I have tried connecting the VPN on my host as well as in the VPC

As newby, I installed VPC 2007 on XP SP2 and I installed XP from a self-made slipstreamed CD (iso-file). After the setup was complete, XP was running fine and I could see all my physical hard drives. I don't know if this is relevant, but after installing SP3 on my host

It seems DVD access is extremely under Vista 32 guest running under XP 32 host. Vista itself seems to run fine but installation of Office 2007 from DVD takes FOREVER. I use VPC 2007. VPC additions are installed (I used additions that come with VPC 2007)

Is it possible to have two network cards running in an installation of Windows XP SP2 on Virtual PC 2007? Once card will be DHCP and connecting to the LAN and the other will be static and directly connected to a piece of equipment ( industrial). This is for dev. purposes.

I want to virtualize a linux box on virtual pc. Host os is Windows 2003 server and I managed to install GNU/Linux CentOS 5.1 on it. Host os is connected to a class B lan where 172.16.0.1 is the gateway and in the same LAN there are also DNSs.
