When I attempt to install Virtual PC 2007 on Vista Home Premium, I am
prompted with the following error message:

2.13 GHz Pentium M notebook with 2 GB RAM, SigmaTel sound system -- so not a
slow system as notebooks go.
Running VPC 2007 under Vista. Allowed 512 MB memory and 10 GB virtual HD for
WinXP SP3 VM. Sound stutters so badly in the VM that it's unusable.

Not sure what has changed but I am no longer able to start either an existing
virtual PC (XP home) or a newly created (XP Professional SP2).  I get an
error of Unhandled PowerPC exception: 700 - program fault.
