We have a new system with the XP64 and we are finding that we can not use our SurfCam software - they do not currently support it? Has anyone else had a problem - all of our other software manufacturers have helped or we've gotten patches.

I have just purchased a P4 D Processor 840 and a abit aw8 max motherboard with 4 gig memory and two raptor drives. I have installed xp pro on and it only sees one processor and 3 gig of memory. I reformated and installed xp64 and sure enough it found the processors and

I sent to my local trusted computer store to price a dual core 64 bit motherboard and XP Pro 64 bit. The guy there told me that I don't want the 64 bit XP as 32 bit apps running on this OS are like playing an MSDOS game in a 16 bit compatibility mode on

Does anyone know how I could make a copy of my Xp 64 install disk and put my SATA drivers on it? I don't want to have to hook up a floppy when I install. If I reinstall it in the future. I've phased out floppies. I keep a drive and a few spare disks around

Is there a way of faking Service Pack 1 on XP X64? This because the following problem: When I try to install Studio 9 from Pinnacle on XP X64 the software installer 'thinks' it needs Service Pack 1 and simply stop installing!

I hope I have the right newsgroup. I just install Windows XP, and I have a older Microsoft trackball that I would like to use. when I tried to install, I get a message that says, XP cannot work well with this older trackball software.
