I'm aware that the 64-bit version of XP was built on top of the 2003+SP1 code base rather than XP+SP2, thus there is no service pack (yet) for XP x64 called "SP2"...or SP1 for that matter, as it's built-in... But is there a service pack for the 64-bit version of 2003 itself? Or ...

I hear a rumour that new forth comming platmorms will only be for the 64 bit platforms. Can anyone substantiate this or clarify???

...in 64 bit, is the same thing that crashes me in 32 bit. It's playing music in the background while working in other apps. I usually have many things running, often all day without a reboot... InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, IE, Outlook... whatever. I can run stable all day long ...

Hi, i got my eval copy of win xp 64 pro bout a month ago. today i installed a new OCZ ram chip and needed to reset cmos so i could boot. i forgot to reset the time ...then booted into 64 and it said "this copys time for evaluation is up" or close to that. i've reset the clock now ...

I need to install a new Server for our SQL 2005 Project, now we decide to run with a 64bit Machine, is there a List of differences between 32bit vs. 64bit windows 2003 Versions ? (for example I know that 64bit don't support Streaming Services)

After booting up in XP SP2 and clicking on my D Drive or my attached firewire drive, they would take like 12 seconds to open up. Now in x64 on the same computer, when I boot and click on those drives, they open up instantly. (It's the only factor that made me switch).

Found Print drivers for Canon at http://software.canon-europe.com/ even for the Pixma and BJ printers. Works great.
