My hard disk was partitioned as follows:
 Primary partition 4GB, C drive, FAT32, for NTLDR etc. and copies of
       downloaded drivers etc.
 Extended partition containing the rest of these:

I wonder why I can set a pagefile of 16 TB on a 32 bits Operating
System ? Is is because of EM64T ? Is it recommended to use more than
4Gb of virtual memory on a 32 Bits based-system?

When you hit TAB key for the first time in any 32-bit app
it appear to work as two strikes, not one.
In 64-bit apps it work OK.
Microsoft should fix it ASAP!!!

We will be buying a Proliant DL385 which runs Windows 2003 Server Standard
x64 edition. We will install sql 2005 x64 standard edition and 8GB of RAM
(to start). Do we need to enable the "/3GB? switch or"PAE"  for sql to
recognize this extended memory space. Or will it happen ...

My Win Xp Pro x64 box has to two verisons of IE 6.  What is it about
websites (html?, javascript?) that prevents  IE-32 bit from working? Is
there such a thing as a "64-bit" website?

Yes, much to my surprise my new HP xw4300 runs Windows XP Pro x64 edition
but the CPU is a Pentium 4 -- a 32-bit, not 64-bit CPU. How can this be?
I thought that an x64 OS would require a 64 bit CPU!

Just bought a new system still in the box, contemplating trying the x64, I
don't find much info on hardware requirements etc. I have a 64 processor,

Having a bit of trouble finishing my Xp64 setup.  Everything worked fine
until I tried to transfer all my old files and setting across.  The wizard
informed me that I had to re-collect my old files using the new wizard on the
