I have a legacy Access97 application that using the plugin.ocx object.
Suddenly the app didn't work because Windows XP autoupdates deletes this file
now. Is there a way I can get back onto Autoupdates without having to
re-install this file after each update?

it aggravates me that Microsoft would release a patch that
breaks any 64 bit software It isnt like there is a ton of 64 bit
software available to begin with This same patch is causing
reboot loops and bsod's as well for some users I understand

I have to use DT and this latest patch wont let me run it, ive read around
(also in DT forum) and they are aware of this problem.
For the moment, this MS patch is not critical for me, i can do fine without
it, so my question is, how do i remove it?

I was thinking to format my XP, install a x64 Vista
My problem is when I downloaded the 64bit Vista ISO using 32 bit window XP,
i cannot open it using Alcohol 120% for copying those file into a DVD.
i send it to my another computer, it only had 14MB.

I've burned this x64 vista ISO using Nero and CDBurn.exe and it won't boot.
The wierd part is it's not giving me any errors. It burns just fine (2x or
4x) but when I reboot the computer with the DVD in the drive (yes, boot from
CD is enabled) it just hangs when it tries to boot ...

hey, windows vista beta 2 64-bit is way too slow!  it seems to do alright for
a while, but as soon as you have more than one window open, it really starts
dragging!  this especially is true when you are trying to switch users.  it
hangs for probably 2 minutes.
