Hope you can help. I've installed beta 2 on an AMILO A1630 (sadistic, I know).
Everything looks fine except the performance when plugged into the mains
power.
I'd expect it to be throttling during 3d intensive use, with power settings

most computer systems being sold now include a 64 bit CPU
I haven't seen any systems that include windows 64 as the os

First off I know this is a beta....
I have been using Windows 64 Pro for some time and it is far from perfect ...
But, I must admit I am very disappointed in Vista....
I'm having problems with software not working.... Lock Up's ... reboots ...

I've got the vista 64 networked with my other computers and when i try to
print from here to my printer attached to another machine vista tells me the
document was sent but nothing prints out - not a glimmer.  I've tried the
drivers that come with vista and the drivers for xp64 ...

Booted up this morning and my CD-DVD drives were missing.  Checked messages
and imapi driver failed to load.  (missing or corrupt message 39)  Went to
System Restore to restore to earlier time and selected one and tried to do a
restore, but the message that drive D could not be ...

I Downloaded windows Vista Beta2-64bit.I burned the iso file in a DvD...(I
veryfied the Dvd,so it isn't wrong.I tried to open it from my windows Xp,but
it wrote::D is not a valid Win32 application...
I booted from the DvD and it wrote:loading windows..After 10-15 sec is shows

since then the taskbar and start menu and the bottom of the screen will not
come up?? i dont understand why this is. Does anyone know why and how i can
