Quick Q .. 32bit v 64bit (2003) system memory space31 Aug 2006 21:50 GMT11
This may have been asked before, but I searched the postings and did not
find what i was looking for.
In the 32bit world, the OS gets 2GB of ram, and then the rest of the memory
is diced up into 2GB chunks for applications. This can be changed from 2/2

winlogon.exe has huge VM size ?31 Aug 2006 09:27 GMT7
I've noticed that all my Windows XP x64 PCs have a huge VM
size in Task Manager, I think it's only since the last MS patch day. Also
the machines are popping up dialog boxes saying Windows is running short of
virtual memory and has increased the page file size.

Vista Beta 2 driver, which I did.  Upon running the thing, ...

Program Locations??30 Aug 2006 06:19 GMT5
In my present 32-bit system I like to keep my program files in a completely
separate partition to the operating system (as far as I can - some programs
don't offer you the choice of where to install).
When installing 32-bit programs in XP x64 can I still do this??

Speedcommander (http://www.speedproject.de/enu/speedcommander/index.html) is
an x64 native file manager that works in the dual pane fashion, preferred by
some of us out there.
It is not freeware. You'll have to shell out 37.95 euros for buying it.

Someone was asking me what imaging solutions customers were using for X64
editions of Windows.
So I thought I would ask in the newsgroup what imaging solutions work and
are being used for X64?
