I installed Vista RC-1 (5600) x64 and did a complete PC backup to a seperate hard disk. Now, when I boot from the installation DVD and select to Repair it sees the backup I made but won't restore it because it says its not using the x64 version of WinRE. How do I get the x64

I have waited for hours at the "34 minures remaining milestone" but nothing happens. it just waits at that particular point indefinately. I read on another thread somewhere that it might happen because of some hardware not being able to install so I unplugged all the hardware

I've tested all of my hardware on a windows 32-bit system and under Windows XP Pro x64 safe mode and running regedit works fine but when I bring either that or task manager up it opens for one second then closes immediately. this computer is mainly for web sites, oputlook, and EQ, ...

Operating system is WinXP Pro 64 bit. AMD Athlon X2. DSL LAN Internet Explorer 64-bit can access internet and works fine. Internet Explorer 32-bit can not access internet: 'cannot find server' and 'page cannot displayed'.
