Passing strange...04 Oct 2006 12:57 GMT12
I'm sure someone else has already noticed this, but I was amused to see that

aficionados can take care of themselves.  I'm still running ...
Vista upgrade04 Oct 2006 05:09 GMT3
Is there any advantages to going from x64 pro to vista. As usual I bought a
system with what I thought would be good for several years. Now a new release
and I don't know. As a side note, I was using win98 untill I bought this
system :)

Edition drv-ms files?  This can't be this hard to do!!  I keep getting an
error "trying to download codec"

When did Windows XP X64 come out?03 Oct 2006 14:46 GMT10
When did Windows XP X64 come out?  The lack of third party support  i,e
drivers and software reminds me of when I switched from Win 98 SE to Win XP.

64 Bit Support for 865PE-A7 Elite Motherboard03 Oct 2006 01:11 GMT6
I probably should have known better than to ask advice in the PC World shop,
but I specifically told them I wanted to build a 64 Bit Computer to try out
XP 64 bit and later Vista. They recommended the 865PE-A7 Elite Motherboard
and a Celeron processor, but the Installation CD ...
