I probably have to return my new machine tomorrow, but I'm trying to figure
this out.
We got a new machine, and because of miscommunications, it came with a 64
bit version of the Intel DUAL Core P4.  I didn't want that.  In any case,

where to get it?
My TAM tells me that I need to get it from the OEM of the machine I am going
to run it on. I think thats crap. We have such an obsene select agreement
with MS, that if the bits can be had, we should be able to get them.

MS .NET Framework 2.0 fails to install. Attempts to create an automated
support request also fails; data collection tool "hangs" indefinitely and
Internet Explorer displays "error on page" message. The tool also cannot
collect the Product Identification Number; the MS PID ...

Audigy 2 ZS Platinum16 Oct 2006 12:28 GMT33
Are there any known problem with the Creative Labs SoundBlaster Audigy 2
ZS Platinum sound card?  I just upgraded to Windows XP Pro x64, and have
gotten things to work fairly well, all except the sound card.  I used to
get sound from it, but now can't seem to get any sound, either ...

Having problems with this guy. I am running GDB of MingW on x64. It
runs until it tries to debug an executable. Then I get "Error: dll
starting at 0x78d41000 not found." Dependency Walker states that
everything is ok, but devmgr.dll. It states that it is an AMD64 build

2Gb, 250 GB Hard drive, 256Mb (shared) 6130LE graphics and the Realtec HD
Audio.
Subscriber Downloads x64 RC2?15 Oct 2006 21:15 GMT8
I noticed that today (October 10th) RC2 32-bit was added to my subscriber
downloads.  The x64 RC2 wasn't added yet though.  Is there any ETA as to when
it will be available for download through the MSDN Subscriber download
interface?

at home on my new X2 machine, but lingering fears of angry phone calls from
the missus ("Hey, this stupid machine you built ...
