Drive lettering13 Oct 2006 12:51 GMT14
Vista rc1 stole my "C:" drive letter, moving all my partitions one letter up.
I had left "I:" partition for it (the last one), but it took hold of "C:".
I installed now rc2 from within rc1, chose a fresh install and it did
install on the last partition.

Dual boot rc1 & rc211 Oct 2006 23:36 GMT5
After unsuccessfully tried to upgrade Vista x64 5600 to 5728 and/or 5744 I
wonder if I can leave rc1 as it is and install rc2 on a separate partition.
Problem is that upgrade fails in the last part of the last stage, either
installing from a DVD or HD (both 5728 and 5744).
