is Vista 64 a good idea for someone like me? What edition should I look into?
I'm a heavy gamer but also like to do video editing and large cd/dvd burning
projects. Here's my system specs:
Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-SLI

Have two full versions of XP x64 (one M/S - other OEM) the results of
changing HDs, during the last year or so, I have re-installed each version
several times without conflicts.
Today, when performing a "Clean" Install, suddenly receive same error

I have a dell precision 690 that came with XP 64bit on it. I want to be able
to dual boot with Server 2003 64bit on a separate hard drive, but when I try
to install, it can't find the hard drive. Any Ideas on how to get this to
work?

Installing Vista 64b, I try to use the last DRV given by ASUS for It's Cmedia
Audio chipset (Written for XP 64b v5.12.1.9 (WHQL)), but when i attent to
make sound I receive a blue screen ....
Unfortunatly Xp 64b DRv do'nt seems to be working for Vista ....

I'm getting this error at boot.
Environment:  RAID 0+1, WinXP Pro 64bit, 1G Dual Channel DDR2, 4 160G Maxtor
SATA, Intel 3.0 HP 64bit processor, Intel 945gtp MB, Samsung 970 Digi LCD
(this matters).

The current Nvidia x64 drivers (96.33) do not work under RC2.
You will lose all hardware acceleration (video, games, even Vista Aero).
I did not test x86/32 bit.
The builtin drivers work, but are not meant for 3d games of course,

Ok, I've downloaded the 64bit version twice now.  The file name is
vista_5600.16384.060829-2230_x64fre_client-lr1cxfre_en_dvd.iso, that is
opened using WINRAR.  When I open the file there is nothing in it.  Just an

We're running an x64 machine on a home network.  It is networking just
fine, we can share it's drives and so forth.  We can also ping remote
servers.  We have, however, lost the internet connection (the other
machines on the network connect just fine).  The system runs a

I have two servers that i would like to replicate between one is a 32 bit 03
server the other is a 64 bit 03 server the 64 bis seems to be missing the dfs
replication service.  How do i configure the replication with this service

I've try to clean install the 64bit version using my original production
key,  but somehow a 32 bit version was installed.
Do I need to re-gen the production key?

I installed XP64 with the SATA drive running in Standard IDE mode, and I now
wish to run it in AHCI.
I'm not sure how I would go about doing that.
