I have a AMD 64 system running Vista x64 RTM. When I attach my Maxtor
OneTouch external drive ; it cannot be seen in explorer nor as a Maxtor Drive
on the USB . (I get an error that the mass storage device could not start)
Same problem when I attach my iPod and also a memory stick ...

Can anyone think of reasons that CD's are playing O.K. but movies have no

How long do you think xp pro x64 ed will be available after vista is

I am working on a device for a customer of mine, using brand new Intel
Hardware - Xeon 5100 Series CPU's. I am attempting to load XP 64 bit - the
storage controller is a 3ware SATAII - obviously no native support on the

    I have a dual opteron system, and I'm going to install XP Pro x64
on.   Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of different ways to buy it.
    I see that a OEM version is way cheaper, but I'm going to stay away

Ever since beta two my sigmatel high definition x64 drivers won't load.  In
fact, when I check Control Panel, Add Hardware, no sigmatel is even listed.
I am running RC2 on a Gateway GM5048 with 2gb memory.  Under Windows Xp the
following drivers for audio are loaded:

[Latest] menu button on the driver download for your own product.
