Still getting a black screen while attempting to play DVD's when aweek
ago the DVD's played fine. Only changes were the upgrade to WMP11 64.
Going back to WMP10 doesn't help. Reloading video controller drivers
dont help. Why can't Windows configurations stay the same?

For years, I've used Outlook Express for email, but the 64-bit version of OE
doesn't include a spelling checker (an inexplicable and unforgivable
omission IMHO).  I've been using Outlook for quite some time, but it is
incredibly slow.  It's not uncommon for it to take 7-8 seconds ...

I'm not sure when this happened, but in case it just happened, WMP11 for XP
Pro x64 is now available.

After reluctantly updating WMP, I am now stuck with a black screen. I
was just watching a DVD last week no problems.
Thank you so much for screwing my computer Microsoft.

When I plug an external USB hard drive into my brand new Windows Storage
Server 2003 x64 - it hangs and I have to power off.
Then I unplug the drive, power on and it's OK.

For those that might be interested Raxco has released the
latest version of PerfectDisk 8.0, build 45, and it runs in
Vista, both x86 and x64.  I have it installed in RC2 x64 and
boy did that disk need defragged!
