I have to blade server with OS installed yet. I need to know windows version because this customer has HW to 64 bit but would know OS version. With Winver I've none information. Anyone can help me?

All the software that I work on that can be installed as a service (and any other software that will run as a service for that matter) doesn't appear to work under Vista if UAC is enabled. The problem is that the user is not prompted for elevated privileges, despite the correct call

How do I remove entries left after uninstall. I have 4- Nero entries that did not get deleted. How do I remove them from the add remove programs? I tried John Barret's edit the registry fix but could not find any reference to nero.

I got Vista from the Academic Alliance, and I'm pretty sure it's the full version since I was able to choose from multiple versions. I have an AMD Athlon 64 3700+, but never saw any option to install the 64 bit version of Vista. Where's the option located?
