Windows Camera wizard no longer mounts/transfers photos to hard di23 Jan 2007 11:39 GMT1
I have a "new" problem trying to get pictures from my Kodak DC280 camera.
It used to be that I could just plug in the camera (USB), set it to
"connect", turn it on and Windows would pop up with a "scanner and camera"
wizard (or something like that) and show me thumbnails of the ...

New drivers by pass WINXP 64???22 Jan 2007 02:53 GMT15
I am wondering if WinXP PRO 64 is on "the way out". I noticed that alot of
drivers are coming out for Vista 64, but NO drivers for WinXP Pro 64.
Companies seem to be by-passing drivers for WIN 64.
Any  thoughts?

Norton21 Jan 2007 22:07 GMT4
Norton has totally re-written Ghost with a product called Norton Save &
Restore but still hasn't made it either Vista or 64-bit compatible. Typical
for them.

Motherboards that work with Windows Server 64?21 Jan 2007 21:23 GMT11
I just tried to install Windows Server 64 on a Dell 9200 and it crashed
during install without any additional cards in the unit.   I'd like to put
Windows 64 bit on a standard PC with an Intel Core2 processor.   Ideally the
motherboard would have as many PCI slots as possible.  ...
Burning data onto a DVD-R using a DVD-RAM drive.21 Jan 2007 21:15 GMT2
This LG GSA H10A supports a multiformat of disks: DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/+RW, and
the full formats of CD.
Yet when I insert a blank DVD-R into it, windows will not recognise it.
It recognises it when there is stuff in it, but not when it is blank.
32bit ISAPI not running on 64bit platform21 Jan 2007 20:46 GMT2
I have an ISAPI extension running on a W2003/32bit for two years. Now I
moved to a W2003/64bit server and the ISAPI does not run.
As far as I can see, I have the same settings like on the 32bit server.
Extension has permission, no other extensions have permissions, IIS is
Canoscan Lide 3021 Jan 2007 18:32 GMT4
Does anyone know a workaround for the Canoscan Lide 30 scanner on x64?
Canon evidently doesn't care about bringing official 64-bit drivers to
those of us too poor to have a high-end scanner. I really don't want to
have to install regular old Windows XP in order to scan, and buying a
Couple of Questions21 Jan 2007 16:31 GMT4
Hey there I've just got a couple of questions that I'm not so sure about in
regards to Windows Vista.
1) How do I if I should buy the 32 bit or the 64 bit version of Vista?
2) Whats the difference between the upgrade version and the OEM version?
