Whenever I 'move' the jpeg files from a USB-attached flash drive (various digital cameras) using windows explorer, XP x64 immediately crashes during the 1st file transfer (instant reboot of the system...no BSOD or minidump). I have circumvented this problem by 'copying' the files ...

Over the weekend I downloaded Windows Vista Enterprise from my MSDN subscription via the eopen downloads site. The install worked fine. When I attempt to activate the software, however, I receive this error:

Is there any antivirus software that supports the Windows XP Pro x64 platform? I know that Symantec states flatly that they DO NOT support this platform yet.

ok i got an xp64 disc, cost me £100 boxed etc, i've tried installing it on mp pc but it keeps comming up with a bsod , error 0x000007e, which i think is a mem error, now i've tried it on two diff mobos, with 4 different sticks of ram, different h/d's and still no go,, any ...

If I put the mouse curor over the items in the systray, I can see the very top of the information popup. The rest of the popup window is hiding behind the taskbar. The only one that does not do this is for my network connection which is the first one on the left side in the

my friend needed to completely restore his computer because it was really acting up so he figured he'd just reinstall windows xp and then install his internet, blah blah blah, then everything would be fine. unfortunately, he didn't know the difference between all the different xp

I first posted this in basic. I think it was the wrong place. When I try to run defragmenter (which Windows says I need to do), I can analyze the disk and start defragmenter, but it stops after a few seconds and says, "paused for volume shadow copy." I have Windows XP ...
