Almost get everything over to the new PC running vista 64 bit from the old 32 bit XP, except my 1250W minolta laser printer, just wondering if anyone outthere has a solution or at least get this working? thanks

The Internet Explorer icon on the Desktop is x86. How can I change it to x64? I looked under properties but it doesn't say. I want to change the target it to: "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"

Everything loads properly up to the point after I select the user, it loads my background image but not the menu bar, desktop icons, or anything else. I can Ctrl-Alt-Del to open new tasks but I cannot open Internet Explorer or most programs, Microsoft office programs do work ...

I get this error whenever I boot Vista x64. It says that the i8042prt controller could not be started. Could it be because I have no PS2 devices connected? I am on wireless keyboard/mouse.
