Anyone know if I can hook up Minolta 1250W printer to 64 bit Vista30 Apr 2007 03:50 GMT2
Almost get everything over to the new PC running vista 64 bit from the old 32
bit XP, except my 1250W minolta laser printer, just wondering if anyone
outthere has a solution or at least get this working?  thanks

The Internet Explorer icon on the Desktop is x86.  How can I change it to
x64?  I looked under properties but it doesn't say.
I want to change the target it to:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"

Everything loads properly up to the point after I select the user, it loads
my background image but not the menu bar, desktop icons, or anything else. I
can Ctrl-Alt-Del to open new tasks but I cannot open Internet Explorer or

I get this error whenever I boot Vista x64.
It says that the i8042prt controller could not be started.
Could it be because I have no PS2 devices connected?

Ive got windows xp mce, im thinking of making a partition and putting vista
ultimate 64 bit on it.
Briefly ive got a core2duo e6600 o/clk to 3ghz, with 500gb raid 0 array on

I got a new laptop with 4G mem. Installed Windows server 2003 x64
edition on it. But I see only 3.5 GB. The CS at Dell says that this is
what to expect with 32 bit XP - since windows maps all the device
memory (like video etc) at the higher range which hides the top
