I have down loaded the xps print to file converter. Now it overrides the default printer. It comes up for everything. Is there a way to make active only when you want to use it. Windows XP Pro.

I CAN'T GET MY BACKGROUND TO CHANGE. IT WON'T EVEN LET ME DO ANYTHING. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS SO I CAN CHANGE BACKGROUNDS? IF YOU COULD I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT VERY MUCH.

I got my new HP Notebook with Vista Ultima x64. A couple of my programs doesn't work with the x64 edition, i.e. my favorite Virus scanner, etc. How can I downgrade to the x32 version?

I am new to running 64 bit OS. From what I gather, it is possible to run 64-bit Win XP/Vista on certain types of CPUs which support EM64T instruction set. Is this right? Would there be any performance degradation in doing this?

I get the following error message when trying to play avi or mpeg files with Windows Media player. Why? "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

I have a compliance problem and I need to know and be able to explain to legal team the meaning of a file's Date Created, Date Modified, Date Accessed properties: what they are, when they are set and under what conditions they are changed/updated.
