Is there a fix for this problem? None of my USB storage devices can be stopped on XP X64. I have to remove them hot or wait until I shut down the computer. These devices include Flash drives, Hard drives and Ipod Shuffle.

I was logged in as administrator--then switched to user. Now I can't seem to switch back to administrator so I can put on software. The page that gave me the choice now only has the user name. How to I switch back to administrator?

I'm using 64 bit vista and I decided to try and punch up my RAM a bit, here's the problem. I'm using 4 sticks of 1GB RAM (all same manufacturer and speed) and in vista it only shows me at 2.75GB. Do I need a new motherboard that can support more RAM? I'm also using a 8800GTS ...

I just installed Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Both Media Player and Media Center will play audio, but fail when I try to play sample video or a DVD. When I try to play a video, I get a message that Media Center has stopped working and I only have an option to close the program.

Hello. Is it reasonable to delete large files from the windows\installer directory? I'd like to conserve drive space on my system drive, and there are a couple of large files in that directory. Any drawbacks to simply deleting them?
