On our current Windows 32bit build we lock down the permissions on several
HKLM\Software\Microsoft registry keys.
Should we also do the same to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WOW6432node on a
x64 build?

This is the error message I get on about 45 comuters:
Wnd Notification for PNSetupMgr
I work in a library.  Ever since I did updates about a month ago, I get this
error message when the computer is about to shut down.

I have a Dell PE1850 that is running Windows 2003 Server (32bit). This server
is a Virtual Server hosting several Microsoft VM's. I discovered that I can
not create a 64bit VM because the host OS is 32bit. My question is this: Can
you upgrade a 32bit server to 64bit?
Can't start x64 in safe mode11 May 2007 01:50 GMT3
I can't start XP x64 SP2 in safe mode no matter when I press F8.  Have tried
it on my multibootloader and before XP logo - as per MS article - but it
just doesn't bring up the menu.
Happen to anyone else?  Fix?
system restore turns off when i reboot11 May 2007 01:47 GMT2
I tried to use system restore and found it was turned off.  I turned it on
and found when i next rebooted it had turned off again,  I have updated virus
definitions and ran a full virus scan system is clear can anyone help.

Installing NetPhone PBX client 2.4.1, a Win32 application in XP Pro X64 I get
this error on launching Setup.exe ...

I had a problem earlier with my computer and I resolved it by repairing
Windows.  I just looked for the Prefetch folder in Windows and it's not
there.  My Windows folder is filling up with files such as setupact,

I have Windows XP Pro X64, SATA.
I went into Safe Mode to run some anti-virus programs.  No problems were
found so nothing was deleted.  When I returned to normal mode, my computer
was completely changed.  I received this message two times when I rebooted:
