I'm building a home theater computer from scratch and have selected all my
components (see below) but one, the OS.  I am trying to decide if I should
get the 64bit or 32 bit version of Vista Home Premium. I've beeing reading
some of the other posts out there and the general vibe ...

I have one pc with vista ultimate 64bit and another with xp home 32bit. So
far I have been unable to connect the two to create a network. Does ne1 know
if it's possible to connect such different OS's?
If so, how? (assume i know nothing about networking ;) )
