I'm using CuteFtp 8 in Vista 64. I am trying to transfer a file from my computer to my computer using cuteftp8 as a test. I connect fine but only to /. I cannot change this path.How do I change this so I can try a file transfer?

I have a licence for 32bit Vista Ultimate OEM. But I would like to upgrade to 64bit Vista ultimate. I realise this will be a reinstall but I am interested to know how I can upgrade my licence (or even If I need to) to the 64 bit product. Do I have to buy a completely new licence?

after a recent windows up date allot of my 32 bit aps are failing, even the 32bit explorer failes while the 64 bit explorer runs fine, I removed the updates but it never helped any thing any ideas? or even where I can look will be helpful

Can someone please tell me a DVD-RW drive that properly burns media under Vista Ulimate 64 Bit? I have a Sony DRU-170C (which has a "Works with Vista" sticker by the way) which does NOT burn under Vista 64 bit. It works just fine under 32 bit, but not 64.

Does anyone know of a list of the default, out of the box print drivers that ship with x64 Windows 2003? I'm trying to determine the level of out of the box printer support in x64 as opposed to x32. I need to know what drivers are included in x32 but not in x64 and vice versa. ...

My OS is down, has been corrupted, and is not recoverable, according to Dell tech support. They recommend a fresh install but my data is not backed up and I cannot lose it. My question is, is a parallel install a viable option? Or is it too risky

I installed Vista 64 business on a MacPro which has a 7300GT video card in it. Thi machine previously had XPhome without fault. Display went to 4bit color low rez. The 7300GT reported a lack of resources in device manager.
