I'm shopping for a new notebook and looked at an HP DV6675US with Vista Ultimate 64 bit; 4GB RAM. I use the computer for photo editing with Photoshop, Lightroom and Pro Show Gold. I like the idea of getting 4 GB of RAM but am concerned about compatibility

Guys it looks like lately My rig have been PROBLEM MAGNET , i hit another problem yesterday , when i had the blue screen problem with vista 64 bit because of the 4gb of ram , windows installation crashed as i mentioned in another post , and then when i got the problem fixed ...

From the inquiries about drivers for WinXP 64 you would think companies would be supporting it better.Maybe a few "nudges" from Microsoft would help. The system is rock solid for me.I don't understand the "lack of support for a 64 bit system".

now that i have my retail (oem) version of Win XP Pro 64-bit installed and running smoothly, the task manager reveals something very interesting. i was wondering if anyone out there sees the same thing: when i open task manager right after boot up, i have 19 files/srvcs running.
