Taking ownership of a file or folder may be a little cumbersome. I found this reg file on the web (http://forums.mydigitallife.info/showthread.php?t=852) that adds a righ-click option "Take Ownership" when right-clicking in windows explorer.

Hello, I first ran into the link to this MS KB article at this forum: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/929777 What it describes is that if you have more than 3 gigs of ram installed in your system, the Vista install will encounter a stop error.

I need help to locate these logs. I ran chkdsk to see if I had any problems. When it finishes running I don't have a chance to view if it found any errors & fixed them.The screen just fly's by.I went to event viewer & looked for the logs for chkdsk but, cannot seem to locate them ...
