I have Windows xp Professional Version 2002. I have major problems with MS
Explorer and outlook as well. When trying to get online updates the system
would not recognize my product key. I have the original package but still its

Sometimes when I restart it will literally take hours for it come back up.
This seems to occur randomly but I have noticed that it definitely happens
when I install new software.  I can't even get it into safe mode when this
happens.

Hi. I just flashed my BIOS to the latest version and now my Vista 64 bit
claims there has been a hardware change and I need to reactivate vista...

Everytime i install a program, game or just someting, it doesn't put a
shortvut on the desktop or in the start menu, even if it normally does. The
software can still be found in "Program Files", and in the controlpanel (hope
that's what's called in english)

I would like to try out this edition of Windows XP to take advantage of dual
processing and threading.
The problem is that the hardware drivers seem to be built for Windows XP
(i.e. there is no specific mention of support for the x64 edition).  Are
