Recently purchased a new desk top, with XP Pro... machine auto restarts a few
seconds after I shut it down. I have unchecked the automatically restart in
start and recovery section of advanced system settings, but no change.   Any

I downloaded Windows 2003 R2 64 bit & created 2 ISO image CDs. When place the
first one in CD/DVD drive, nothing happens!
I also got a DVD from Microsoft & same thing -- nothing happens.
My machine is a 64-bit AMD64 & it has no OS installed in it and BIOS setting
