OK, to clearify:
1.  My NEW PC (HP m9150f) - Came pre-installed with Vista Home Premium (OEM).
2.  I purchased a RETAIL/UPGRADE version of Vista Ultimate, cost was around
$250.00.  That purchase gave me 2 DVD's:
CPU/Motherboard Upgrade15 Mar 2008 23:54 GMT13
I have been running XP-64 for two years.  It is far and away the best
version of Windows I have used.  It's rock solid and responsive.
I'd like to upgrade to a dual-core CPU and new motherboard, but I have
tons of software installed on my current machine, and I don't want to

I have 2 Dell 3007WFPs and can't seem to get them both working together.  The
second monitor is always detected as an analog display and will never display

Future of XP Professional x6415 Mar 2008 00:26 GMT28
I have noticed a number of software developers offering 64 bit versions of

gently guide us to Vista ? I am currently at a crossroads ...
Make ReadyBoost 8gb?14 Mar 2008 20:58 GMT16
Is there anyway to get Vista Ultimate X64 to use more than 4090mb for
ReadyBoost? I upgraded to 8gb RAM and figured I should match my RAM size with
my ReadyBoost size but it will only go to 4090mb.
sound14 Mar 2008 16:51 GMT1
I just have a pair of cheap speakers and am using the onboard sound.
This will be a sound tweaking question.  In preview, how do I get the sound
to work across players?  Video has been affected.
When I started playing media files and movies, Media Player worked great.
Security for New Computer14 Mar 2008 16:28 GMT8
