I’m building a computer. I want to run Win XP Pro x64 because I’m told that people are still having issues with Vista. I’m getting most of it from Tiger Direct. It’s a Visionman Cube Intel Barebones PC. This is what I will have:

I'm using XP Professianal SP3 (hope so) in stand-alone, with ADSL dial-up, logged in with an account having administrator rights. I have the big problem that I cannot install new programs anymore (included the updates for XP...!).

I settled down to watch my first Blu-ray disc in x64, and I failed miserably. I noticed Corel WinDVD has a new version for Blu-ray, so I bought it (even though the test was uncertain about my operating system and equipment). Sure enough, it locks up and does not work.
