Win7 x Topmost applications (Z-order)31 Jul 2009 20:19 GMT4
Does anyone here happens to use TV-Tunner card from Encore?
Their website points to several client applications/drivers, one for each
windows version. After trying several ones, I found out the one that works
with Win7 x64, but the GUI application has a problem setting itself as a ...

I have VistaHP64 running on a desktop pc. Quad9550 processor, 6MBDDR3 @
1333MHz, Intel DX48B2T Motherboard, Twin 250GBWDRE3s in RAID0. It boots fast

three times longer than XPPro takes to copy the same file ...
Win7: nvidia driver issue27 Jul 2009 18:19 GMT5
I have an ageing TI4200 graphics card and while I fully appreciate that
getting any shiny UI goodies (at all) are not in my favour, I really would
like to enable the dual-display functionality.  Is there a way I can make
this happen through the windows VGA driver or am I ...

Plans to upgrade to Win 7 64-bit from 32-bit Win XP27 Jul 2009 15:40 GMT17
I bought a full 64-bit capable machine a couple of years ago, and the
Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor Beta seems to say that I won't have too many
problems if I install the 64-bit Win 7.  I say "seems to say" because
in some instances it suggests I check the manufacturers web-site.

Trying to get drivers.  I know,,,,23 Jul 2009 18:45 GMT14
Ok, I have an ASUS ASN-SLI (??  Not at home atm to verify) 64-bit mobo
with a AMD 64 3800 CPU.  I was trying to get x64 XP on the system but
alas, it can't detect the freaking SATA Drive!
Ok, no problem.  I know I need to grab the chipset drivers from ASUS.
Reactivation required?22 Jul 2009 14:45 GMT3
To help me plan ahead I will be grateful if you will tell me whether
either repair or reinstallation in the same box (but perhaps on a different
drive) of XP x64 will require reactivation.
Undeleteable file folders21 Jul 2009 16:54 GMT3
Not a clue why I can't (admis. priv. enabled with all permissions - file
sharing turned off). Empty - no contents. Security tab, etc. The only thing I
see is they are marked read only (which I am unable to change - reverts).
They are "busy" with some application (?huh?) - they're ...

mouse pointer trails20 Jul 2009 21:56 GMT1
I changed a pointer, with trails.  I click apply then OK.  The change won't
stay.  It becomes distorted.  If I want it to revert, I have to go back in
and do the trails steps.  Upon reboot, the change is not there and/or
sometimes still distorted.  What can I do to make the ...
