When I start my computer, I get the following message.
Cannot find a device file that may be needed to run
Windows or a Windows applications.
The windows registry or System.INI file refers to this

Help...I want to upgrade to windows 98 from 95 and I can't
seem to find out how to do it. I've searched the Microsoft
web site with no lucky. Can anybody help!!!

installed on it.  I would like to upgrade to either
windows2000 or windows me.  I have the bill of sale when
I purchased the laptop.  Do I just need the serial # off

I have had a malfunction in my Gateway 2000 Solo Laptop
and I have to reload the software.  This is an old
computer but it serves my purpose and I like it.  I only
have the Windows 95 Upgrade having discarded the orginal

I know this sounds strange, but does any one have a copy of Window 95
OEM I might buy for a reasonable price (low!).  I know that were are
using Win98 and above, but for some silly reason, I wanted to install

The PROBLEM:
Everytime I log on to my computer I recieve a message
stating that, I have lost a device file which I need to
run windows. It refers to my c drive, c:\PROGRA"1\CARBON"1

I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT HOW YOU PUT COMPRESSION DRIVER ON
WINDOWS "95". IT IS TELLING ME THAT THE COMPRESSION
DRIVER IS NOT SETUP CORRECTLY.
