I cannot get past a windows password on my desktop.
I have owned this laptop since 1996 and have not used it
now I have forgotten password.  Computer keeps shutting
down after several failed password tries.

Hi I want to know what advantages does WINME have over
WIN98. And if its true that WINME uses better memory
resources, and multimedia/Directx at full potential?

I own an old but very effective toshiba laptop.
Because of a virus infection I have to reinstall my
win 95 diskettes
( 13 diskettes that came with the computer )

Broken computer here, Windows 95.    Need copies of text of your
autoexec.bat and config.sys files, so I can try to figure out sequencing of
commands, etc.   Any computer brand is okay, but does need to be Windows 95.

Have 'old' machine with Win95 - want to connect to

Friend of mine using Win95 gets Error Msg."Illegal
Operation" when he attempts to open Explorer.
Same error Msg when he attempts to open "My Computer"

My pc, with Windows 95 crashed. I was installing program,
and when I re-started my PC, everything seems to work ok.
However after the screen with the Windows 95, a black
screen appears, and the monitor remains black.

How do we know which Bit version windows we are using.
Like 16 bit/32 bit/64 bit etc.
what is this bit version signifies?  is the length of the
