I cannot get past a windows password on my desktop. I have owned this laptop since 1996 and have not used it now I have forgotten password. Computer keeps shutting down after several failed password tries.

Broken computer here, Windows 95. Need copies of text of your autoexec.bat and config.sys files, so I can try to figure out sequencing of commands, etc. Any computer brand is okay, but does need to be Windows 95. Do not need:

Have older PC with Win95, planning to sell it. There's nothing ultra-critical on it, there are only maybe 250 files, but just to be safe, would like to *completely* erase data files (Word document, spreadsheets, etc.).

My pc, with Windows 95 crashed. I was installing program, and when I re-started my PC, everything seems to work ok. However after the screen with the Windows 95, a black screen appears, and the monitor remains black.
