The school gave my husband a clean computer, Gateway,

My aim: to install windows 95, then win 98 upgrade.

I am trying to boot my win 95 comp but it can,t find the
driver for the cd rom. Do I need that? I have downloaded a
boot from boot disk.com but I still have no luck!

There are many programs that cannot be uninstalled
through the remove programs list, it says that a file is
missing and uninstallation was canceled.  These programs
have been deleted, not uninstalled, leaving pieces of

In preparing  an older computer to give to my sister I
ran the product recovery CD provided by IBM. Things were
fine until I reached a page relating to the Certificate
of Authenticity. The screen asks for an "OEM" string.

I have just re-formatted my hard drive on an old computer
and found my original Win 95 disk but I dont have the OEM
code to allow me to install it. Is there an over-ride code
