I need the MicrosoftPlus! Windows 95 CD-ROM to be able to
reinstall the printer.  After years of printing, I get
a: "There is no default printer" message and the Printer
Wizard accepts the first 2 HPDeskjet692C disks then says:
Cannot find device file28 Aug 2003 16:54 GMT1
I restarted my computer after uninstalling Norton
AntiVirus.  My computer won't even start in safe mode.  
It keeps coming up with the following screen:
Cannot find a device file that may be needed to run

Can any one tell me why after i download DirectX8.0 for

I can't access the Window Help files with the , Start button -  Help, or F1 it won't open the Help list.
other program help files are ok, but Windows Help never opens.
The files are in the folder as i can see them with Explorer.

~A thing pops up and says: Click OK to start downloading
