I hokked up one of our way old computers for  my 7 year
old in his room, and I reinstalled everything, but since
I don't have the old windows 95 authenticity code, I
can't go any farther. Is there anyway to obtain the code?

On startup we get the message - 'while initialising
device hooktdi: Windows protection error. You need to
restart your computer' -
The computer then goes into safe mode on restart.

I have an old PC HP Vectra 500. And i decide reinstall the
windows 95 to clean all, but when i reach the part where
it ask for the Certificate, i notice that i lost it. I
have the original CD and the computer model was purchased

I have plain old Win95.  SBC/YAHOO requires Win95B min.
req.  Can't find reference to "95B".  What are my upgrade
options?  Would it be simpler to just go to Win98?  Any
help appreciated.  PS: Not a computer whizz.

I purchased a computer with Windows 95 installed.  This
compter was remanufactured (new 1998 an made in Canada--
Don't laugh).  Now. I hook up a printer and got the
message that say that this OS system does not support that

Hi, when I click Shut down and then click OK in the Shut
Down Windows dialog box, my computer always stop
