I have One of each on Workgroup and the 95 &98 computers
see each other quickly.  However the XP computer takes a
minute or two to see the others, but it finally sees them.
Is that normal to take a while to find them?

After using FDISK and Format /s on a new hard drive I ran
the setup for Win 95.  The files copied and loaded to the
point of needing to reboot prior to doing the final

i found that i had viruses in my system so i found a
website that gave instructions on how to remove them.
After following the instructions i restarted my computer,

What is the maxmimum addressable amount of physical memory for Win95?  I
know that 98 will only use 512M, is this true with 95 as well?

I need help.  My local cable company is adding cable

Trying to re-partition & reformat w/ 95 boot disk. When I display partition
info, it shows a primary and an extended partition on the drive & says the
extended DOS partition contains logical DOS drives and asks if I want to
display the logical drives. I answer Y, and it tells me no ...

If I save a word doc to a floppy on my win95 system. I
can't see/open/read/edit it on win98 or higher. I don't
get it. And visavera. Why can't i see 95 files on other
puters or see 98, nt etc on my win 95?

I received this message as Windows was booting up. This
file exists on my Windoew 95 system, but this message pops

If I have two hard discs connected, I see them so:
C: master primary partition
D: slave primary partition
E: master logical partition

I just installed a new internal modem into my wife's PC and
the installation software chose Comm. Port 3, the other
modem was using Comm Port 2 and was working fine until we
had a power surge. She gets connected using the new modem
