why do I go thru spells where I have fatal error alerts
pop up on my screen and what is the cure besides taking a
hammer to my computer.It seems to be worse at times and

I recently formated my Hard drive because I was going to
reinstall Windows 95 onto the computer. However, even
after i insert the system disk, it says invalid system
disk. I don't know how to acess MSDOS. Help please?

When windows is in line by line start up mode.  When the
question comes "do you want to load all windows drives"
how do you prevent some of the drivers from loading and
can you check which drivers are being loaded.

I access my dial-up account from two different locations (of course not at
the same time). Are there any software out there that can let me set the
allowable dial-up time periods?

Hi, I have the same problem as Sue. Most programs won't
open because they cannot find the WS2_32.dll. I have
searched my hard drive, and the WIN95 disk for it, no
luck. Can I get it from the internet.

I was reinstalling W95 on my existing W95 system.  The
start up diskette was compiled and after while the system
froze.  I can boot up but I can't access ROM drive to
continue the installation.  It will check the ROM if I

i have an old computer that used to have 95. i have the
cd. i tried to install mandrake 9 linux and it froze
during installation and now nothing works. i have tried
to run fdisk from a win98 bootdisk, but it says "no

when i start my computer i get messg. can't find needed
file (GUTL.DLL),
what is it and how do i get it back?

consequently cannot use my control panel.

for IE 5.5 SP2 updates??? Trying to apply update of 11/19/99 for w95?
MS update finds the update ok,  but can not install it, is there a fix
for this problem?
