Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade directly
from last edition of Windows 95 to Windows XP PRO ?
Microsoft does not show it to be be possible on their
website, but I saw an upgrade package at Office Depot

i turned my cpu on the other day and when it loaded up it
said i was missing a file called info32.exe and now my cpu
is punning real slow and it kicks me off alot and it freez

Hey hey,
here is the deal.  I work at a agricultural tractor
dealership where we use a laptop pc to do diagnostic work
on tractors.  When we were using pc the pc crashed with

Boots into windows until it reaches the macafee V-shield
then i get -can't read c drive .

I am trying to fix my PC, and would love help if possible.

I had to reformat the hard drive and I used a boot disk
for Win95 (d/l from bootdisk.com). Everything was going as
supposed to until I got to the "D" prompt. Now I get the
message :  CDR101: Not ready reading D   Abort, Retry,

Trying to upgrade Windows 95 - upgrade starts, then gives
me a mssg that there is a corrupted .cab file and can't
continue. I don't what/where the file is, or how to fix.

My hard drive crashed, I reinstalled Windows 95, however I
have lost the documentation which contains the key code,

Have computer which crashed giving message insert disk,
etc. I inserted the start-up disk which was made from the
Windows 95 program along with the Windows 95 original CD

I need to reinstall windows 95 but have mislaid the oem
code that I will need to reinstall, how do I find out the
code that I originally entered?  I have found a code in
the control panel/system page but im not sure if it is the

I am changing my motherboard due to a failure (old board is dead). I am
moving on to a new board but then with same harddisk and the rest of the
stuff. I still intend to use 95 on this new board.
In Windows 98, you can delete the "Enum" in the registry whereby Win 98
