There is a key you can hold down during the boot up,
beginning when the Windows logo appears that will prevent
items in the startup folder from executing. Is it the SHIFT
key or the CTRL key?

some times my computer freezes and there is a warning

I just used the 98 upgrade on my 95 and now it will only
boot in safe mode.  I can't figure out the problem and it
won't let me uninstall it or access the cdr in safe mode,

Can I use A DSL internet connection on my Win95 PC?  
Verizon (phone co) is saying it should work but they won't
support it.  Any experience with this anyone?

I am trying to install Windows 95 on a laptop with a
Parallel CD Rom Drive.  When the 95/98 Start up disk is
loaded, it cannot find the Cd drive.
Any ideas how I can get the PC to see the drive?
